In an effort to reduce costs and improve service levels on the country's roadways and railroads, the members of the Freight Management Association of Canada (FMA) unveiled a global network on Monday.
The 15 international members of the network will act as a freight broker for shipments entering or leaving Canada.
The company, which has close relations to Australia, is also considering implementing regulations that would permit carriers to apply for C-Train carrier cards and drivers to accrue international freight pilot-packs.
